This is an OEM replacement door gasket that is found in select BIS wood fireplaces (see applicable models below). This part will ship new in the manufacturers packaging. It is worth noting that BIS fireplaces has changed names several times over the years. BIS parts have also been referred to as Security, Lennox , IHP and Astria Fireplaces.
PLEASE NOTE: The original gasket (PR-SR1823O) was discontinued in 2024 and replaced with this new gasket. It is 3/4″ rope gasket and it is 10′ long. It may not be a perfect fit as IHP (company who owns BIS/Astria/Lennox etc) is using this gasket to fit several models. It will still work as intended, but there may be excess gasket left over that will need to be cut. Gasket cement IS NOT included, but can be found here if needed.
Description: This is a genuine BIS Panorama & BIS Villa Vista replacement door gasket. When the stove door is closed the gasket helps to provide an airtight seal. If you don’t have an air tight seal, more air will get into the firebox which will increase the rate at which you burn through wood. A proper seal will increase the efficiency of your stove by a drastic amount.
