Complete Refractory Brick Set for RSF Opel PLUS (FR-99.11.01.PP)

Description

Authentic RSF complete refractory set for the RSF Opel PLUS wood burning fireplace.  This entire set of refractory bricks will fit the Opel PLUS series (manufactured after 2019) as well as the Opel Keystone CAT fireplace.

Refractory bricks are an integral part of your fireplaces and need to be replaced if they are damaged or degraded enough so that pieces are missing.   Refractory bricks protect the firebox of your fireplace from warping and damage.  They also keep hold the heat enabling a cleaner burn.

Note: For pre-2019 models of the RSF Opel you will need the Complete Refractory Kit for RSF Opel.

Installation tips:  

Ash is not your friend when installing these bricks.  Make sure to vacuum out all of the ash from inside the firebox. DO NOT USE A HOUSEHOLD VACUUM.  Embers from the fireplace may cause a fire inside your vacuum.  Use an ash vac or a shopvac with a drywall filter.

It is best to note the position of the bricks you are removing (snap photos with your phone) so you can install the new ones in the same way.

Please Read:  Despite our best packaging efforts some firebricks may arrive cracked.  However, cracked firebricks are safe to use – it is only when pieces are missing that they need to be replaced.
