This is an OEM replacement cast iron ash plug from Bis Fireplaces. This part will ship new in the manufacturers packaging. It is worth noting that Bis fireplaces has changed names several times over the years. Bis parts have also been referred to as Security, Lennox , IHP and Astria Fireplaces.
Description: This is a Bis cast iron ash pan plug that fits in the bottom of the fireplace. This plug helps provide the proper seal inside the firebox. If you do have a proper seal, than more air will come into the firebox, which will increase the rate at which you burn through fire wood.
