This is an OEM replacement glass gasket from BIS Fireplaces. This part will ship new in the manufacturers packaging. It is worth noting that BIS fireplaces has changed names several times over the years. BIS parts have also been referred to as Security, Lennox , IHP and Astria Fireplaces.
Product Description: This is a genuine BIS replacement glass gasket that fits several wood fireplace models. The glass gasket has a self adhesive strip, and helps to provide an airtight seal between the glass and door frame. If you don’t have an air tight seal, more air will get into the firebox which will increase the rate at which you burn through wood. A proper seal will increase the efficiency of your stove by a drastic amount.
