Purpose: Glass gasket is a barrier between the glass and steel. When the gasket starts to wear out, the unit will leak air and cause the fireplace to over fire which may lead to damage. If the gasket fails, the glass in the fireplace may also crack.
Installation tips: Please ensure that the gasket is even all the way around the glass.
For some models they call for part number 936-155 – this gasket is commonly used instead of the 936-155. This one is slightly wider but works just the same.
