RSF Opel 2000 Complete Brick Kit (99.11.02.P)

Genuine RSF complete refractory set for the RSF Opel 2000 wood burning fireplaces.

Refractory bricks are an integral part of your fireplaces and need to be replaced if they are damaged or degraded enough so that pieces are missing. Refractory bricks protect the firebox of your fireplace from warping and damage.  They also keep hold the heat enabling a cleaner burn.

This RSF Brick Kit contains 6 pieces:

• 11.1.P – rear left
• 11.2.P – rear right
• 11.3.P – front left
• 11.4.P – front right
• 11.5.P – left side
• 11.13.P – right side

If your RSF Opel had a single rear brick, please read this.

Applicable Models: RSF Opel 2000 Wood Fireplaces – ALL

Purpose: The firebricks are designed to protect the fireplace from warping.  They also keep the heat in the fire to ensure a cleaner burn.

Installation tips:  Make sure that you clean all the ashes out of the firebox.  Use a vacuum (a shop vac with a drywall filter is best) to clean all the ashes out.

Please Note: Older RSF Opel 2000 fireplaces had a single brick in the rear of the fireplace.  If your fireplace has ‘2’ bricks in the rear, please read this.  This retrofit brick kit is the only option available for RSF Opel 2000s.

SHIPPING NOTE: These bricks are very heavy AND its normal / expected that one (or more) bricks will arrive cracked.  There is no way to avoid this.  WoodChimney.com will package the bricks up well, but one or more will crack in shipping.  This is normal and a crack in a brick will not affect the operation of the stove and is safe to use.  The only way to avoid any cracks is to pick up the bricks in one of our locations.
