Authentic RSF Opel Glass Gasket kit for double door Opel fireplaces. This kit will fits all RSF Opel fireplaces with double doors. If you have a single door Opel you’ll need this glass gasket.
*Important Note*: This kit comes as a single gasket for both doors- you will need to cut the gasket to fit both doors.
The glass gasket forms a barrier between the window glass and the steel of the fireplace. If the window gasket wears out and becomes thin it can cause air to leak into the fireplace. The result of this can be over-firing which could cause damage to your fireplace, as well as causing the glass to crack.
It’s a good idea to replace the RSF Opel door gasket at the same time so you can ensure your fire is air-tight!
