Top Baffle for RSF Topaz, Chameleon & Pearl (FR-98.11.20.FA)

Authentic RSF replacement Top Baffle for Topaz, Chameleon & Pearl wood burning fireplaces.

Please note: RSF has updated their official replacement top baffle.  Instead of the heavy masonry baffle, the new official replacement is this lightweight, long, lasting fibre baffle.

The purpose of the baffle is to keep hot gas in the burn chamber ensuring it is burned cleanly and creates a hot burn.  If your baffle is cracked or warped it must be replaced.  Failure to do so could result in a warped or cracked firebox.

Replaces part number:  FR-11.9.T  

Applicable RSF Wood Fireplace Models:

• RSF Topaz
• RSF Chameleon
• RSF Pearl

Please check the part number with your manual, as it may work in other RSF wood burning fireplaces as well.

Regarding Installation: 

1. You will need to remove the front secondary air tube to access the baffle.  Unscrew the bracket on the left hand side of the secondary air tube.
2. Once that is removed, you can remove the old baffle and replace it with the new fibre baffle.  Sit it directly above the other air tubes and orient it so that it is centered.
3. Once you have completed this step, replace the front air tube.
