Vermont Castings Slant Bottom Brick (Right & Left) – Montpelier / Stratton (30006706/30006707)

These are OEM Vermont Castings Slant Bottom Brick (both right and left) that work with the Montpelier & Stratton wood inserts. These are genuine replacement parts (proper fit and quality testing) and not an aftermarket brick as seen on some websites.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This part used to be one piece and was part number 30004328 (3000-4328). Vermont Castings changed this and now it is split into a right and left side slant bottom brick.  You can order them individually, or together, from the drop down menu.

Vermont Castings Part Numbers:

• 30006706: Right Slant Bottom Brick
• 30006707: Left Slant Bottom Brick

Purpose: Firebricks helps insulate the firebox resulting in a great heat output and efficiency.  If the brick is cracked or distorted make sure you replace it.  If you don’t you may run the risk of warping or cracking or warping the stove. the stove.
