This is an OEM Rais Gasket Kit (3 gaskets for door and glass) that is compatible with several Rais wood stoves (see applicable models below). This gasket kit is a genuine replacement part from Rais – it is not an aftermarket copy.

Purpose
The gasket is designed to keep the door and glass sealed tightly. If the gasket is frayed or distorted make sure you replace it. If you don’t you may run the risk of warping or cracking the stove due to over firing the stove.
Installation tips
Make sure that you clean all the ashes out of the firebox. Use a vacuum (a shop vac with a drywall filter is best) to clean all the ashes out. The surface the gaskets are being attached to must be absolutely clean.
