RSF Delta Fusion Door Handle Retrofit (ER-99.09.98 / FR-99.09.98)

This is the official replacement door handle retrofit for the RSF Delta Fusion.  This is a new factory original part from RSF in original packaging.  This is an RSF Delta Fusion Door Handle Retrofit for some RSF Delta Fusion Wood Fireplaces.

Note: Does not include Wooden Handle part # 98.09.01.FA

Applicable Models:

• RSF Delta Fusion prior to serial number DF00330.

Please check the part number and the serial number of your fireplace prior to ordering.

If you have serial number DF00330 or greater you will need part # FR-99.09.04.DF.

Purpose: The door handle is made of wood and is designed to allow a cool surface that you can grab with gloves, designed to make sure the door closes tight on the wood fireplace.  If the door is loose it will cause excessive air to come into the fireplace.  With excessive air, it will be difficult to control the air flow into the stove.  Excessive air could also lead to over-firing of the wood stove and the wood stove may warp or crack.

Installation tips: Take your time fitting the new door handle.  You may need some fireplace and stove gasket cement & stove sealer to hold the door handle in place.
