The wooden door handle is an important part of your fireplace, it offers a surface you can safely handle with gloves to open and close your fireplace door. If the handle is not secure and can no longer be tightened back into proper position it should be replaced.

RSF Delta Fusion – serial #DF00330 and higher.
If you have a serial number previous to DF00300 you will be looking for part number #ER-99.09.98.
Installation Notes: You may need to use some gasket cement to keep the door handle firmly secured.
