This is an OEM wooden door knob for RSF Delta Fusion wood burning fireplaces. This new part comes in RSF packaging and includes installation instructions.
The wooden door handle is an important part of your fireplace, it offers a surface you can safely handle with gloves to open and close your fireplace door. If your knob is cracked or deteriorating it should be replaced.

RSF Delta Fusion
Purpose: The door handle is made of wood and is designed to allow a cool surface that you can grab with gloves, designed to make sure the door closes tight on the wood fireplace. If the door is loose it will cause excessive air to come into the fireplace. With excessive air, it will be difficult to control the air flow into the stove. Excessive air could also lead to over-firing of the wood stove and the wood stove may warp or crack.
Installation Notes: Before installing clean the metal from the lever off using fine steel wool. You may need to use some gasket cement to keep the door handle firmly secured.
