Enviro 1700 Series Wood Stoves & Inserts – Replacement Secondary Air Tubes (50-1099/50-1100/50-1101)

$72.00$288.00

These are OEM replacement Front Secondary Air Tubes for the Enviro 1700 Series Wood Stoves & Inserts.  This part will ship new in the manufacturers packaging.

Note: There are three different secondary air tubes for the Enviro 1700 Series stoves and inserts. All three are purchasable from this page, either individually or as a set. Please note 1700 has 4 air tubes total – they require (1) front tube; (2) middle tubes and (1) rear tube.

What are Secondary Air Tubes?

Secondary air tubes serve the purpose of adding preheated air into the upper portion of the firebox. This allows for optimal burning efficiency.

How do I know when my secondary air tubes need replacing?

Secondary air tubes should be cleaned regularly, but with age air tubes begin to warp, crack, and deteriorate. Once this happens it obstructs airflow and leads to lower efficiency and heat output. They should be replaced if any damage is noticed.

How to replace secondary air tubes?

To remove your old air tubes take a screwdriver (any type is fine except flat head) and place it in one of the air tube holes. Then with a mallet gently (or not so gently depending on how stubborn it is) hit the base of the screwdriver toward the left hand side of your fireplace. Once the right end comes loose you can pull it down and out.

To install your new air tube you’ll basically do the opposite. Put the left end into place first, then you should be able to shove it to the right into place. If necessary use the mallet and screwdriver trick (to the right this time) to make sure it is firmly in place.
