This is an OEM Regency Stainless Steel Flame Shield that works with the I1500S and F1150S series wood burning inserts and stoves. This part ships new in its original manufacturers packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Description: The flame shield purpose is to direct the flames and heat away from certain parts of the stove. In this case it’s used to protect the catalytic combustor. If the flame shield is cracked or warped, it should be replaced.
